Fredric can help those who have come to recognize that a family member has mental illness. He can help family members or those with mental illness to solve the problems and challenges they face, and the denial, the stigma, and grief. As well, he can be there during the discovery of the blessings that can be the promise of recovery.

He is an advocate for those with mental illness and their families. He is an advocate for Psychiatric Advanced Directives and can assist in putting these directives in place.

Fredric understands issues related to Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) for individuals with mental illness. As well, Fredric can provide information addressing the growing concerns of people living with serious mental illness who are uninsured.

Fredric serves as a board member of the National Alliance for Mental Illness, Southern Oregon.
